Barolo DOCG

This Ca’Barun Barolo from the famous cru vineyard “Rocce de Castiglioni” in Castiglione di Falletto is matured approx. 30 months in French 225 l oak barrels. It has deep ruby-red with light orange tinges; though starting to become garnet-red intense. The bouquet is wide and intense hinting at red fruits combined with vanilla, spices and touch of licorice and leather.

The wine is dry, full-bodied, austere and robust, well balanced with thin tannins taste blending harmoniously with the wine structure. We recommend serving the Barolo to game, red meats and cheese. Serve the wine serve at 18°C. The wine can be kept for at least another 10-15 years.

Barolo was granted its DOCG classification in 1980; it is considered one of the finest and longest-lived wines, often referred to as “the king of wines and the wine of kings”.
